Greg Daw | Head Coach

Greg Daw enters his second season as head coach of the cycling team in 2018-19.

 In his first year at the helm, 2017-18, Daw led Lake Superior College to a successful inaugural season with a North Central Collegiate Cycling Conference championship during the mountain bike season. Lake Superior College then went on to a top ten showing at the USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships in Missoula, Montana.

 Originally from Duluth, MN, Daw served as a Health, Physical Education and Recreation instructor at LSC in 2013, while completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2013 and a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Northern Michigan University in 2015. Daw is a certified USA Cycling coach and a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association strength and conditioning coach.

 Prior to coming back to Lake Superior College, Daw served as an assistant coach for Track & Field and Cross Country at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan from 2013-17. Daw has 10 years of racing experience in mountain biking, road, and triathlon.
